penguins arriving home
ABOUT THE TOUR

Our Phillip Island Wine and Nature Tour takes you to the wine highlights of Phillip Island and the Bass Coast area, including seeing the little penguins arriving home at dusk.

Start the day with being picked up from your Phillip Island or San Remo accommodation. You will visit two local Phillip Island wineries for wine tastings and at Phillip Island Winery you will have lunch at the winery. with a glass of wine or beer. After lunch we will drop into the chocolate factory to buy your chocolate supplies, then you will be taken off the Island and tasting some more wine at some more Bass Coast wineries where you will have a grazing board.

At the end of the day you will be taken to the little penguin parade to see the penguins arrive home at dusk. After the penguins you will be taken back to your accommodation

You will enjoy the spectacular scenery on our way to the different wineries, wildlife on the roads around Phillip Island and you have the opportunity to walk the Nobbies boardwalk. At the Nobbies you will have a sparkling wine with nibbles at sunset.

Good selection and variety of food and wine destinations. Our friendly guide Dianne has an in depth knowledge of interesting specialist destinations in addition to the region overall. On joining the tour she tailored the day to best match our interests achieving a balance that provided a great experience. We particularly appreciated her friendly introductions to the regional operators which I believe reflects the respect with which she is held in the tourism sector of the region. Happy to recommend!
